Who are Dartmouth Partners?
We're a private equity-backed, multi-award-winning recruitment company with a unique 'Classroom to Boardroom' business model. From fast-growing start-ups to PE-backed businesses and FTSE 250, we partner with ambitious businesses to help them identify exceptional talent, from high-potential school leavers all the way up to C-suite.
We do things differently, and our key differentiators are kindness and excellence. We embed these values in our day-to-day work and look for them in our new team members.
About the team
Our team specialises in placing top-tier technology leaders into private equity firms and their portfolio companies across the UK, Europe, and the US. We focus on roles such as Chief Technology Officers (CTOs), Chief Information Officers (CIOs), Chief Digital Officers (CDOs), and Chief Information Security Officers (CISO). Additionally, we assist these leaders in building out their teams.
We leverage our extensive network and industry insights to connect firms with leaders with the right blend of technical expertise, strategic vision, and leadership skills. Our commitment to excellence ensures we deliver top talent that aligns with our client's strategic goals and cultural values.
About the role
Your role will focus on networking with candidates, understanding their key drivers and motivations and becoming an expert in your market. You'll learn the recruitment lifecycle, perfecting your skills not just on day one but throughout your career with us in our market-leading training programme, the Kernel Academy.
You'll develop commercial, meaningful relationships with our client base and, in time, build a client network of your own through consultative business development.
You'll identify and attract market-leading talent through delivering research projects and surveys, building market maps, analysing and reporting market trends, and working on the creation of value-added ED&I events.
You are key to Dartmouth's success and we will invest in your development to help you maximise your opportunity and progress to Consultant (and beyond!)
What you'll bring
The ideal candidate for the Technology Leadership team will be a commercially minded, hard-working person who isn't afraid to put themselves out there. You'll have proven examples of where you've put this commercialism into action in a work setting, and your CV will be packed with examples of your drive and work ethic. You'll be hungry, eager to learn and work with pace. This is an entry-level position.
What you'll get
- A high-performance environment where we take our work seriously but not ourselves
- Bespoke training from our in-house Performance & Development team
- Clear progression path from Associate to Managing Director
- Regular incentives such as lunch clubs and trips abroad
- Private healthcare, wellness and mental health support
- Friends in the office, regular team nights out and socials
With global offices across the Kernel network in London, Hong Kong, New York and Charlotte, we can also offer international secondment and relocation opportunities. We have lots of examples of our business leaders across the globe who started their careers with us in another office!
We learn best when we're together and value collaboration and in-person interactions with candidates, clients and each other. To reflect this, we promote (and enjoy!) working from the office however, we also offer flexible arrangements and have the option to work from home one day a week.
Equal opportunities statement
