Business Development Manager

About the role
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve company growth targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within relevant markets such as financial and professional services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify industry trends and opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients.
- Collaborate with other internal teams to ensure alignment and support for business development initiatives.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of business development strategies.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes.
Required Skills:
- Track record of winning cold business
- Evidence of account management skills
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Adaptability in a continuously evolving and innovative environment.
What we're looking for:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B business development, ideally within the recruitment industry and financial services.
- Proven track record of achieving business development targets and driving growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
