We’re looking for a Junior Executive Assistant to support the Group CEO with their business and some personal matters. You’ll be the go-to person for their support, partnering with teams across the business to keep our systems running smoothly, our data clean, and our processes efficient.
Overview
This is a unique opportunity for a proactive, organised, and personable individual to join Kernel as a Junior Executive Assistant. The role is split between providing direct support to our Group CEO, Logan Naidu, for 50–60% of your working week (including some personal matters), and supporting the wider Operations team for the remainder.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of both the CEO’s day-to-day activities and the operational backbone of Kernel.
Key Responsibilities
1. Executive Support to Group CEO (50–60%)
• Proactive diary management, scheduling, and meeting coordination for Logan Naidu
• Supporting with inbox management and prioritisation of communications
• Arranging travel, accommodation, and logistics for business matters
• Preparing documents, presentations, and briefing materials
• Supporting with personal administration as required (e.g., appointments, reservations, errands)
• Acting as a gatekeeper and first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
• Maintaining confidentiality and exercising discretion at all times
2. Operations Team Support (40–50%)
• Assisting with ad-hoc tasks and process improvements across the business
• First point of contact for Ops@ shared mailbox
• Supporting with diary-related tasks, travel bookings, and general support for the wider group as part of the Operations team
• Helping to organise internal events
• Liaising with external suppliers as needed
• Supporting the implementation of systems and processes to drive efficiency
